Simone is a Co-Founder and Executive Producer at Ashes Artist Collective LLC, an NYC based start-up providing resources for 300+ entry-level professionals launching a career in the entertainment industry. Founded by Simone and a fellow NYU Tisch Alum, the company has been providing portfolio and resumé building opportunities for recent graduates during the COVID-19 pandemic and working toward the revival of New York. Simone has managed the start-up through the pandemic, leading company establishment including finance, legal, marketing, PR, event planning and recruitment and been Executive Producer and Producer on 6 original short films, overseeing production from development to distribution. The films have provided volunteer production work opportunities to over 100 young artists.

WERK DANCE COMPANY

Simone founded the WERK Dance Company, an on-the-go dance company for classes and choreography for events, kids and adults.

Simone’s past entrepreneurial efforts include the RIYAAZ Film Company, South Asian Student Film Company through which she directed and produced South Asian inspired short-form stylistic content.
